Pinsky

The Movie

PINSKY is a story about finding your chosen family and forgiving the one you're born into.

One week to go!

We are approaching the end of our IndieGoGo campaign and about to pull out all the stops. We're 25% funded at the moment, but statistics tell us that 88% of the funding happens in the last 2 days.  Just like a transcontinental flight, here's to hoping the statistics are with us!  Click on the IndieGoGo widget to the right to contribute to this project and see the progress.

DP, Olga and director, Amanda, talk look, feel and lighting

Co-writer/direct Amanda Lundquist, and director of photography, Olga Vasquez, met in Boston this weekend to do some extensive location scouting for the film. Locations for Rami's market, Maria's apartment and Jeremy's house were nailed down and we all got (even more) psyched for the shoot in August. This film will truly span across the whole of Boston, encompassing some of its most well known areas and under appreciated gems (HAVE YOU BEEN TO THE RUSSIAN BAZAAR IN BRIGHTON YET?). Bostonians, pull out your Boston bingo cards, because this movie will have you gushing with Massachusetts pride.

Deli counter inside of the Bazaar on Cambridge, quite perfect

Bazaar on Cambridge in Brighton, MA as a possible location for "Rami's Market"

This coming week we will be hosting two What Doesn't Kill You film parties in Austin and Western Mass, simultaneously.  We had such a successful party in LA, that we decided to try and replicate the magic with two more parties in the final days of the campaign.  If you're in either area Thursday, May 29th, please come and break bread with us. More details on our Facebook page.
